At gamescom this year, publisher NIS America showed us its PS Vita games coming west soon. Here's all the deets…
Yomawari
Yomawari is among the most interesting games I've seen at gamescom. It's an isometric survival horror game in which you play a girl looking for her lost sister and dog.

Count me in.

Equipped only with a torch, you must navigate the woods in search for your missing friends, avoiding ghosts along the way. It was spooky and gorgeous and intriguing, and it's coming to Vita on October 28th.
Touhou Genso Wanderer
Unfortunately, an encouraging start was swiftly marred, with the next title being a pretty standard, dull-looking JRPG called Touhou Genso Wanderer.

The dungeon crawler features an ensemble cast of human-looking-but-not-actually-human characters, as well as some decent (if cliched) art, and boring combat. If you really want, you can check it out in early 2017.
Psycho-Pass Mandatory Happiness
Next up was a visual novel based on the first half season of the popular anime of the same name.

It rocked a cool 90s-futuristic look, a promising branching storyline, and it's out soon, too - September 16th, to be precise.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 2
I think was possibly the most trite game I've seen at gamescom. It's a turn based JRPG with boring art and pretty much nothing new. If that sounds like it's your thing (...), then check it out in the autumn.

你必须造一艘船破解版(mod) MOD APK
Mainstream virtual reality took another step closer today as UK retailer GAME announced that it will be exclusively distributing the Merge VR headset from next month.

Due to arrive on October 30th, this headset - which we reported on almost exactly a year ago, before GAME snapped it up - requires an iOS or Android smartphone and will retail for £49.99.

That price point puts it firmly in the middle of the 'bring your own smartphone' range of headsets - significantly cheaper than the Samsung Gear's predicted price of £99, but more expensive than the Google Cardboard.

According to the Merge VR website, the headset is composed of 'marshmallow soft' foam rubber, purportedly making it very light and comfortable. GAME will be demonstrating the tech at selected stores from the middle of October, so you'll be able to try it for yourself.

The timing and price of the release could see the Merge VR well positioned for the Christmas gift market, and it's likely to benefit from being the most visible VR headset on the high street.

What we don't know at this point is whether the Merge VR headset will come with the Wiimote-esque Merge VR Controller (pictured), which is probably the most interesting thing about it.

We've reached out to GAME for information, and to arrange an early hands on.

Ere long espied a fickle maid full pale,
Trust Platinum to almost totally steal the show at the Nintendo Direct - even with heavyweights like Super Mario Maker 2 and a Link's Awakening remake, its action-brawler-thingy Astral Chain certainly did not go ignored.

Looking anime as hell and like pure Platinum fun, Astral Chain has you playing as police officers in the future who battle bad guys through the use of "living special weapons" called The Legion, which are literally chained to your body.

The action looks super slick, the world looks absolutely gorgeous, and we can't wait to see more. Plus, it's due out this year - August 30th to be exact. And it's a Switch exclusive!

We'll keep you posted with more info as it comes. For now, just look at the teaser video below and weep with joy.

Team up with a special weapon to stand up against alien threats in #ASTRALCHAIN, a new action game from @PlatinumGames coming exclusively to #NintendoSwitch on 30/08! #NintendoDirect pic.twitter.com/RY8L3UnKRd— Nintendo of Europe (@NintendoEurope) February 13, 2019
The one a palate hath that needs will taste,"Lord, Anne, dearie, I've got eyes, haven't I? And I've known Leslie since she was a baby . There's been a new kind of heartbreak in her eyes all the fall, and I know that writer-man was behind it somehow. I'll never forgive myself for being the means of bringing him here. But I never expected he'd be like he was. I thought he'd just be like the other men Leslie had boarded--conceited young asses, every one of them, that she never had any use for. One of them did try to flirt with her once and she froze him out--so bad, I feel sure he's never got himself thawed since. So I never thought of any danger."

The last time we covered Bendy and the Ink Machine-related content, it was back in January when TheMeatly Games announced it'd be coming to Nintendo Switch. Somewhere along the lines we learnt that there'd also be a free-to-play mobile game, and you can pre-order it on the App Store right now.
PRE-ORDER BENDY IN NIGHTMARE RUN ON iOS NOW! FREE! AUGUST 15 RELEASE DATE! #BINR #Bendyhttps://t.co/LSrYAKFNpN pic.twitter.com/3hwifhjpNE— Bendy Run (@BendyRun) August 5, 2018 Bendy in Nightmare Run has all of the creepy charms of the series and you can play as Bendy, Boris, and Angel as you fight off enemies, work your way through tricky terrain, and play fisticuffs with some big, bad bosses.

As well as collecting weapons, you can upgrade your own abilities by trading in cans of Bacon Soup and dress up your character in new outfits that haven't yet been seen. Apparently by winning you'll also have exclusive access to Bendy merchandise.

Since the game'll be free-to-play I'm interested to see what its monetisation will be like. It could be to do with lives, picking up more Bacon Soup, or maybe the merch links will bring the game a bit of profit.

Either way, you'll find out when Bendy in Nightmare Run hits iPhone, iPad, and Android on August 15th.
"What hours of work she must have put on it," said Anne. "And the material must have cost more than she could really afford. It is very sweet of her."
