3、The moon had just risen when Anne and Gilbert went to the door with their guests. Four Winds Harbor was beginning to be a thing of dream and glamour and enchantment--a spellbound haven where no tempest might ever ravin. The Lombardies down the lane, tall and sombre as the priestly forms of some mystic band, were tipped with silver.

-
One-man Japanese developer Throw the Warped Code Out announced that it's hoping to bring its 32-bit survival horror game Back in 1995 to PS Vita this winter.

The game was shown off over the weekend at Tokyo Indie Fest as you can see in this Twitch stream (starting at 01:09:00).

In that stream, creator Takaaki Ichijo says his original plan was to launch Back in 1995 through the PlayStation Mobile system.

But as that service is being shut down on July 15th, he has been in talks with Sony to bring Back in 1995 to PSN for PS4 and PS Vita. He's currently in hopes of getting a publisher.

Back in 1995 is made to resemble an old survival horror game from the '90s, such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alone in the Dark.

You play a guy who finds a message that instructs him to meet someone in a distant tower. On the way there, the game's mysteries unfold.

The main gameplay shown in the demo has the main character using a pipe wrench to defeat monsters. He can only take a few bites before being defeated so avoidance is recommended.

There are also documents to find that point to hidden keys that unlock doors to progress.

It has jaggies, low-poly graphics, broken English, and tank controls. So, yeah, it's very similar to the Japanese games on the PSOne and Sega Saturn, translation errors and all.

You can find out more about Back in 1995 on its website.

Traveling this weekend? Bored and looking for something to do? Hatchi 2 is a pet sim similar to Tamagotchi and it's free now on iOS.

Hatchi 2 features over 25 unique pets to breed and take care of, with several mini-games and customization options too.

It came out late last year from developer Portable Pixels. The first Hatchi game recently came to Apple Watch as well.

Usually 79p / 99c on iOS, you can now download Hatchi 2 for free for a limited time.

Grab it while you still can on the App Store.
