Munch Time 2 will see the return of the tongue-swinging chameleon when it's released in 2015. And this time he has an open world to explore.

When Munch Time came out in 2012, it fell in among a bunch of other physics-based platformers with cute animals just like it. That's what let it down in our review - it was passé.

But Munch Time 2 might escape that criticism as it's a metroidvania, and those aren't quite as rampant on mobile as the first game's genre.

In fact, developer Gamistry calls it a "love letter to Donkey Kong Country," so there you go.

Yep, in this upcoming sequel, Munch has a whole island to swing around from flower-to-flower. You'll also be using his colour-changing ability to solve puzzles this time around.

What stands out the most about Munch Time 2 is the sense of it being a fully connected world.

Or sister sanctified, of holiest note,
"It's good to see you back, Anne, dearie! But did you ever see such drifts? You can't see the Moore place at all unless you go upstairs. Leslie'll be so glad you're back. She's almost buried alive over there. Fortunately Dick can shovel snow, and thinks it's great fun. Susan sent me word to tell you she would be on hand tomorrow. Where are you off to now, Captain?"
Asked their own wills, and made their wills obey. And, the more you play, the more interesting the gameplay will be. As you level up on the game, you will also be able to upgrade your tools and your teams. This will grant you more movement and maneuverability and unlock hidden items that you couldn’t use before. Just follow your gut and bring something memorable together. The buyers will love it!
Slow but steady wins the race.
"Oh, it doesn't seem right that I should be living to hear that," sighed Captain Jim. "But I'm heart-glad to see you. It's brought back my youth for a little while. You don't know yet what a boon THAT is. Mistress Blythe here has the trick--she does it quite often for me."
A HERDSMAN tending his flock in a forest lost a Bull-calf from the fold. After a long and fruitless search, he made a vow that, if he could only discover the thief who had stolen the Calf, he would offer a lamb in sacrifice to Hermes, Pan, and the Guardian Deities of the forest. Not long afterwards, as he ascended a small hillock, he saw at its foot a Lion feeding on the Calf. Terrified at the sight, he lifted his eyes and his hands to heaven, and said: "Just now I vowed to offer a lamb to the Guardian Deities of the forest if I could only find out who had robbed me; but now that I have discovered the thief, I would willingly add a full-grown Bull to the Calf I have lost, if I may only secure my own escape from him in safety."
